On June 13th, Forest Park Southeast will be the site of one of only 27 professional cycling events in North America, The Tour de Grove.  This event has been on the National Racing Calendar for the past five years as the Tour de Winghaven in West St. Louis County and has attracted top professional riders from around the country.

This year, however, the race will move to the city of St. Louis and will take place throughout the streets of FPSE.  Along with the race, there are plans for numerous events that weekend for amateurs and professionals alike. Events currently being planned include cycling related art/cultural events, races for children and a 5K run.

WUMCRC looks forward to working with Mike Weiss from Big Shark Bicycle Company in his endeavor to bring this race to Forest Park Southeast.
